which classes are offered as dual credit?
AT LCHS, the following classes can be taken.

Students are eligible to take Dual Credit courses once they meet CFISD qualification requirements and have met the pre-requisite course requirements.
For Example, students are not able to take English III DC until they have successfully completed English I and English II Most courses become available during 11th/12th grade, although there are a few exceptions for College Academy students or advanced sequence students. |
ALL DUAL CREDIT COURSES for CFISD
The following are ALL approved courses that are available to be taken for Dual Credit with Lone Star College. Any of the courses on this list that are not offered on the LCHS campus can be taken AT LONE STAR COLLEGE outside of the school day. Pre-requisite/qualification requirements must be met before enrollment will be approved.
Registration for these courses must be conducted in person with the DC Team at LCHS. Students planning to enroll in a course on the Lone Star College Campus must also provide(upload in Mylonestar portal) their proof of a Bacterial Meningitis Shot within the past 5 years.

Registration Process for DC courses taken at lchs.
Registration is conducted the semester prior to course enrollment. Students register for DC Classes with the campus Dual Credit Team, Sandra Poag and Jackie Reeder.
Fall Registration is conducted during the preceding Spring Semester.
Typically between February - May. |

Typically between October - November |
Summer Registration is conducted during the preceding Spring Semester.
Typically in March after Spring Break. |
